Vibram FiveFinger Flow

Looking for a pair of FiveFingers for the cold and wet? If you live somewhere with colder weather, spend a lot of time in the water, or on wet trails, here they are. The Vibram FiveFinger Flows are built like the KSO’s, but with the added insulation of a full neoprene (what they make wetsuits out of) upper and EVA footbed for extra insulation. They also feature the over-the-foot and heel straps found on the Sprint and KomodoSport for a more secure fit.

A word of caution: If your Flows feature the Idrogrip rubber sole, they may leave marks. (See tech specs below)

People Who Should Buy the Vibram FiveFingers Flows

  • Runners in cooler climates
  • Hikers who spend a lot of time on wet/damp trails, or slippery wet rocks
  • Boaters/Watersports enthusiasts

You Shouldn’t Buy These FiveFingers If

  • If you live in a warmer climate, your feet will probably bake in these (unless you’re going to be in the water)
  • Just like the rest of the older models with razor-siped soles, not much tread if you’re on rocky or rough terrain

Technical Specs

  • Sole
    • On the camo-soled Flows: 3.5mm razor-siped Vibram TC-1 rubber sole (no longer currently in production, but still available from retailers other than Vibram)
    • On the plain-soled Flows: 3.5mm Vibram Idrogrip rubber (offers superior traction on wet/icy surfaces than the TC-1 rubber)
  • Machine-washable
  • 2mm neoprene upper
  • 2mm EVA footbed for extra insulation
  • Secure hook and loop closure over the foot and heel
